About North Shore Guitar Fest
The North Shore Guitar Fest was created by Haverhill guitarist/instructor Eric Clemenzi. Eric has been a professional musician since the age of 19 and currently teaches 70+ students a week. In January of '08, Eric visited a music trade show in Anaheim, CA called NAMM. There were daily clinics, manufacturer displays, and tons of great performances by top musicians. The goal of the NSGF is to bring some of the ideas seen at the huge NAMM show to music students from the area. In addition to performances, there will be gear to try, free giveaways, and several clinics.
The show will run from around 12-5pm and feature clinics and performances by Bass Virtuoso Dave LaRue (Joe Satriani, Steve Morse), Hypaspace, and the Eric Clemenzi Trio. Custom Guitar/Bass builder Chris Stambaugh and radio promoter Brian Packer will also do clinics. Peavey will be bringing guitars, basses, amps(and one to give away!) for demonstration and for visitors to audition.
Morley has supplied a great pedal display as well as a Mark Tremonti Wah pedal for a giveaway. We have also received some great giveaway items from D'addario and Planet Waves.
