Guitar Days at Langley-Adams Library in Groveland!

On Friday, August 23rd and Saturday, August 24th (both at 1pm) I will bring a collection of instruments, from 4 and 5 string basses, to 6, 7, and 8 string guitars to the library in Groveland. There will even be a guitar that tunes itself! I will talk about the difference between the instruments and show the different sounds each guitar, amp, and pedal create. This will be a hands-on event, so feel free to bring your own guitar and plug in! This program is free and open to the public.

Hard Rock Cafe Show on June 30th!

I am very excited that my students will be performing a Music Drives Us Fundraiser Show at the Hard Rock Cafe on June 30th!  Below are answers to some of the questions I have received regarding the show:

- Q: What time should students arrive and what time does the show start?  A: I need to have everyone at the Hard Rock no later than noon.  I hope to start the show around 12:45pm.

-Q: Where should I park?  A: I believe street parking is free in Boston on Sundays, but just in case, visit the 75 State Street garage.  Here are walking directions:Click for the State St. Parking Garage. Parking is $14 on weekends, and the Hard Rock will validate for a $3 discount.

-Q: Can we eat during the show?  Yes! The Hard Rock will have tables setup for families to enjoy food while watching the show!

-Q: Can I invite friends and how much is admission? A:  Please, invite everyone you can!  All of the proceeds from the show are going directly to Music Drives Us.  We are asking a suggested donation of $10/person.

- Q: How long will the show be?  A: I am estimating that the show will be about 2 1/2 hours long.  Please try to stay and watch all of the groups perform!

Please remember that this is a family event.  I hope to make this an annual event, and I want both The Hard Rock Cafe and Music Drives Us to be excited about having another show.
